Betty Moore

Betty Jo Ann Moore 76 of Pittsburgh Pa, born Bessie Jo Ann Wilkes, departed this life peacefully on the morning of Tuesday January 10, 2023. Betty was born on November 12, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Betty is the daughter of Harriett and Robert N.
Wilkes (deceased). She is also the granddaughter
of Raymond and Bessie Jackson (deceased) who led her to the Lord. After graduating from Westinghouse High School, Betty pursued a life-long career in nursing where she served in the care and comfort of others at Magee-Womens Hospital for over 30 years as LPN.
Betty Is the devoted mother of Kevin Christopher
Wilkes and loving grandmother of Kara Christian
Wilkes, both born-in Pittsburgh. Betty leaves to cherish her memory; her brother, Robert D. Wilkes of Ocala, FI, as well as several nieces And nephews, Debora Cavor, Raymond and Richard Griffith, Denise Holland, and David Wilkes. She will be missed by so many including a host of great nieces and nephews, dear friends, and "Dudley". Betty was proceeded in death by her sister, Barbara Jean Griffith, and brothers, John and Timothy Wilkes.
Betty wil be remembered as a quiet soul, a kind and
careful listener, who was compassionate and loving of all. Most importantly, Betty will always be remembered for the strong love and unyielding devotion she held dearly for her son, family, and friends.
