Cornelia Stovall Davis 95, of Haleburg Alabama passed away Friday, February 16, 2024 surrounded my her family. Ms. Davis was the daughter of the late Eddie Stovall and Annie Dawson-Stovall. Cornelia graduated from Headland Training School. After graduating she became one of the school bus drivers. Mrs Cornelia had retired as a manager from Publix. She had previously lived in Jacksonville, Florida; Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and Newark New Jersey before returning to the Haleburg Community. She was a member of of the Order of the Eastern Star in Alabama. Cornelia is a member of the Mt Zion Baptist Church in the Haleburg Community. She was an incredible pianist, an avid gardener and loved her flowers. Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Earnest Davis: her daughter Cornett Alexander; son Darryl Alexander, sisters Trudie Powell, Jeannie Glenn, and Lucille Williams, brothers Tucker Stovall, Orlando Stovall and Herschel Stovall. Leave to cherish her memories is her daughter’s Vancier Alexander, Michelle Davis, Frances McGowins, her brother Archester Stovall, her grandchildren and many Friends. Public viewing 10am until time of Celebration of life 11am held Monday, February 26, 2024 at Mt Zion Baptist Church Haleburg Alabama. Interment Private.
