Cornell Farmer

Cornell Leslie Farmer, 58, was born February 4, 1965 in Pittsburgh, PA. He went home to be with the Lord on December 5, 2023 at Shadyside Nursing & Rehab Center. A son of the late Paul Henry Farmer, Jr and Sarah Lee (James) Farmer, he attended the Wilkinsburg School District and worked as a Cook at restaurants for most of his life. He was a talented musician who played the guitar and bass.
In addition to his parents, Cornell was preceded in death by his grandparents Paul Sr and Josephine James Farmer. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, Cornell Farmer, Jr. (Mays); a devoted daughter, Mary Christina Farmer; a grandson, Melikhi Lance Amir Newton; a brother, Arnel Farmer; his companion, Tisa Wright; a neice, and two nephews; and a host of friends including Lance Bowra, Glenn Simmons, Kevin Cole, Richie Jackson and Robert Jackson.
